We have always tried to expand our product range, use the best solutions from the world practice and implement our own developments, taking into account many years of experience in manufacturing and operating roller shutter systems. This applies not only to design solutions or roller shutter production technology, but also to automation and electronics.

We have a new line of motors, all of which are equipped with a radio receiver and are controlled by a remote control. All motors for roller shutters are manufactured according to our specifications and with strict adherence to technical requirements and are produced under our trademark. 

We understand that the introduction of new technologies improves the usability of security roller shutters and improves the user experience, so we are constantly working to modernize Magnet security roller shutter systems and their control methods.

Motors for roller shutters with obstacle detection function

One of the new advantages of Magnet roller shutter motors is the emergency stop function. It is triggered when obstacles or resistance to the roller shutter blade movement are detected, namely:

• Resistance stop function in up mode, e.g. when the roller shutter freezes in winter, the motor can detect resistance and stop working to protect the roller shutter from damage.
• Obstacle stop function in down mode, the motor detects resistance and immediately stops running if the roller shutter touches an obstacle. The obstacle and the roller shutter will not be damaged.

Which motors are equipped with the emergency stop function

The ED and EDW series double rollers are equipped with an emergency stop function. Customers can choose between two obstacle sensitivity modes, which ensures perfect detection in all conditions and helps to keep your property safe and sound. 

Roller shutter motors with WiFi control and opening timer

Another interesting novelty is the EDW and EW series motors, which can use WiFi control to configure and control security shutters or roller shutters. It is very convenient to control all the shutters in the house from the comfort of your own bed using your smartphone. It also allows you to control the roller shutters even when you are not at home.

Another feature of this automation is the ability to set the opening and closing mode by timer. These settings can also be set in the motor app.

Motors for roller shutters with emergency opening function

We always recommend installing at least one roller shutter with an emergency opener if you are planning to install an automatic roller shutter. This function allows you to raise the roller shutter with a hook even when there is no electricity. Nowadays, due to the current energy situation, this function is very useful for automatic shutters on windows and doors. Also, in the event of a power outage, the emergency opening function is of great help to garage door owners.

The addition of a radio receiver and control module can be considered an extension of the functionality of our motors with emergency opening. From now on, all RM series motors can be opened both with the remote control and manually with the help of the gate operator.

All motors can be combined with key, lock and touch switches to create maximum convenience in living and using the roller shutter system.
