When it comes to shutters for the windows and doors of your facility, it's crucial to plan the control system in advance. Proper configuration ensures flawless operation and extends the lifespan of your shutters. In this article, we will provide detailed instructions on how to correctly adjust both mechanical and electric shutters and discuss the significance of limit switches.

Adjusting Mechanical Shutters

Adjusting mechanical shutters can be broken down into four main stages:

  1. Coiling the Spring: Use a special shaft and wind the spring onto it, making several turns. Ensure that the spring is securely fastened.

  2. Attaching the Shutter to the Shaft: The shutter's fabric should be attached to the shaft. Remove the stops.

  3. Testing the Lifting of the Fabric: Verify that the fabric lifts all the way up. If necessary, adjust the number of shaft turns to achieve the desired position.

Adjusting Winch-Operated Shutters

Shutters operated by a winch have a straightforward adjustment process:

  1. Rolling Up the Fabric: Simply roll up the fabric, increasing or decreasing the number of shaft turns. Physical effort required in this process is minimal. However, remember that it's better to leave shutter repairs to professionals.

Adjusting Electric Shutters

Configuring electric shutters requires specific knowledge:

  1. Setting the Switches: Electric shutters rely on switches located at the ends of the mechanism. Adjust the switches to ensure they accurately determine the fabric's position.

  2. Using a Screwdriver: Adjustment of the electric shutter is performed using a screwdriver. While the fabric is active, adjust the screws according to the markings on the pictograms.

Limit Switches

A crucial element of shutters is the limit switches, which control the fabric's position. Properly configuring limit switches provides:

  • Complete closure of the opening.
  • Prevention of structural wear and tear.
  • A longer service life.

Limit switches in the upper part of the shutter control the fabric's position. Increasing the shaft turns will help address issues, using the plus screw. Reducing the number of turns corresponds to the minus screw.

As you can see, adjusting shutters isn't overly complicated. However, it's always best to turn to professionals if you encounter difficulties. Our experts are always ready to assist you with the adjustment and repair of shutters to ensure their long-term and reliable operation. Don't take unnecessary risks; rely on the experience and qualifications of our experts.
